Separate the new slot's two acquisition routes from the crafting conditions changed in the same patch.
The September 9 Korean update introduces the Seal equipment slot and the Sanctuary named Snowfield of Lament. The Sanctuary opens with easy, normal and hard difficulties. This guide covers acquisition routes, not an invented minimum item level or drop chance.
| Route | Connection stated in the notes |
|---|---|
| Crafting | Obtain Seal equipment through crafting |
| Material conversion | Convert the new Sanctuary's equipment exchange coupon using Kina |
The announcement does not establish equal costs or universal interchangeability between the routes. Select the target item and read its recipe. Knowing the intended conversion before collecting a coupon helps avoid spending toward the wrong equipment path.
The patch adds upgraded Genesis and Nemesis Dragon Lord weapon and guard recipes. Inheritance recipes accept their Shining counterparts, while Liberated White Night weapons and guards can be converted into the relevant crafting materials. Korean item names are retained to avoid incorrectly matching similar localized names.
Material equipment must meet a required enhancement stage. Seeing a target recipe does not mean every source item qualifies. Read the target, accepted source, enhancement condition, other materials and result preview in that order. This is a checking method, not an additional undocumented cost formula.
Adding the Seal slot resets accessory detail settings for quick NPC selling and warehouse registration. Recheck those settings before using bulk operations after the update. Focusing only on combat statistics can overlook the inventory-handling change.
Distinguish the planned Seal from the piece currently owned. If comparing material costs, record the recipe and calculation date. This guide makes no claim about current market prices or a universally cheapest acquisition route.
| Your situation | Information to compare | Before proceeding |
|---|---|---|
| You own a Sanctuary exchange coupon | Coupon and Kina requirements for the target Seal | Confirm that the result preview shows the intended item. |
| You own crafting materials | The target Seal's own recipe | List missing materials separately; do not reuse another recipe's cost. |
| You own an inheritance source item | Accepted item and enhancement requirement | Check the enhancement stage even when the item name matches. |
Suppose you are publishing a build before crafting its Seal and have only planned the coupon route. Keep the owned piece in the current setup, and name the intended Seal and missing resources in the target setup. Readers can then distinguish achieved statistics from planned ones. Compare acquisition routes against the same target item, too: placing the costs of different items beside each other does not answer which route suits that particular Seal.
