The expensive end of Spiritmaster PvP: a crafted Splendent Wise Dragon Lord orb and jewellery, Nuakum rolled for Status Effect Resist, the Unique Fierce Battle Amulet, Soul's Cry at 20 and Command: Proxy at 20.
The fight plan does not change from the cheap set. Benediction and the Ancient Spirit before you engage, Defiance and
Command: Proxy into their opener,
Seize Magic on their buffs,
Soul's Cry once their break is gone. What the money buys is reach: your fear lasts longer and comes back sooner, Proxy covers you for longer and heals the spirit doing the covering, and your own break-free stat sits high enough that their opener holds you for a fraction of what it used to.
| Pick | Opens at | What it does to them |
|---|---|---|
| Root for 5 seconds | 8 | Breaking the fear early still leaves them standing in place |
| 10 seconds off the cooldown | 12 | A fear every 35 seconds instead of every 45 |
| 2 more seconds of fear | 16 | Seven seconds without skills or items, at half speed |
All three only fit together at 20. Two crafted rings, one guard line and the Unique Chalice and Compass take
Soul's Cry there exactly. The rings also carry
Elemental Fusion to 20 and
Jointstrike: Curse to 19, where Curse ignores block and evasion and always crits.

| Stigma | Level | What the levels add |
|---|---|---|
| 20 | 6 seconds of shared damage, +10% PvP damage tolerance on the spirit, Spirit Protection half again as strong, and the spirit healing 3% of its HP every second | |
| 20 | PvP damage and PvP damage tolerance up by 22.5% for you and the spirit | |
| 15 | Up to five buffs, and a 5-second seal whenever it takes three or more | |
| 15 | Its skill every 5 basic attacks, so Fusion is up again before they recover |
That is 220 of the season's 300 points. Seize Magic at 20 only takes 30 seconds off its cooldown; worth it once the shards are there.
Kaisinel's Power is the other stigma worth a slot when the enemy team is all crowd control: it is built around Status Effect Resist and Status Effect Chance.
In the Abyss you are less a duellist and more a nuisance.
Seize Magic hits up to four players and seals the ones it strips three buffs from, and
Soul's Cry at 20 keeps a whole pack from fighting back while your team lands on them. When a healer is keeping their side up, swap Proxy for
Jointstrike: Corrode at 15 and land it after Curse has pulled a cleanse out of them.

Four armour and jewellery lines, the Mirror's three and the board put
Revitalization Contract on 20: more Status Effect Resist, more of it every time you are stunned, knocked down or feared, and a 44% heal at 10% HP once a minute.
Spirit Strike and
Mental Focus end on 19. Khrudgelmir's Silence on the orb can seal, and Heladrir's Chains on the guard can root: two more controls their Defiance does not touch.
Azphel opens at 45 and fills from its own crystals: 36 from Ereshkigal's Monolith and 110 from the Abyss Shop over the season, 146 in all. The board here holds the first core nodes, PvP damage and PvP damage tolerance, plus the first Status Effect nodes. None of it counts against a monster, which is why the PvE build leaves it closed. Talisra Wings, from the season shop, close the set.
