The expensive end of Assassin PvP: a crafted Splendent Wise Dragon Lord dagger and jewellery, Nuakum with Status Effect Resist on every piece, the Unique Fierce Battle Amulet, Unique arcana and a full Azphel board.
The opener is the same in the cheap and the expensive version: Swift Contract, Illusive Clone,
Shadowstrike from behind, the Dagger, Shadow Fall, then Heart Gore under the clone. What changes is how long each part of it holds. Every upgrade here makes your control land more often, theirs hold you for less, and your burst finish what the opener started.
| Piece | First Blood | Apex Predator |
|---|---|---|
| Dagger | ||
| Armour | Bakarma +7 | Nuakum +15, Status Effect Resist on every piece |
| Amulet | Rare Fierce Battle, 10% PvP damage | |
| Shadowstrike | 14 | 19 |
| Heart Gore | 16 | 20 |
| Azphel | Closed | Its first core nodes, the rest as crystals come in |
Two rings and two Unique cards put
Shadowstrike at 19. It keeps the 20% crit damage buff and the 50% Seal, and comes back a second sooner with every
Savage Roar hit. Seal is the control their Defiance cannot break, so a Shadowstrike that seals half the time is the one opener they have no answer to.
Heart Gore at 20 keeps its reset on crits, heals you a little on every hit and lands as Multi-Hit.
| Stigma | Level | In a fight |
|---|---|---|
| 20 | Extra damage on half your crits, stuns that land more often, harder crits | |
| 20 | Rear Smite and Assault Stance 1.5 times harder, 10% more attack speed | |
| 10 | Usable on the move, every cooldown 10% shorter when it lands | |
| 15 | Two dodges in a row, on the move, then 20% faster for 3 seconds |
That spends 200 of the season's 300 stigma points.
Spiral Slice is the swap worth knowing: a 20 m rush that strips up to two buffs, and from level 10 stuns when it strips two. Keep it for a Templar's or a Gladiator's Armor of Balance.
The board here holds the first 45 crystals. Season 1 pays 146 in all, 36 from Ereshkigal's Monolith and 110 from the Abyss Shop: enough for every core node, PvP damage and PvP defence, and then the Status Effect Resist nodes. None of it counts against a monster, which is why the PvE builds leave this board closed.
Armour takes Status Effect Resist and HP everywhere, with Accuracy or Critical Hit Resist beside them and one passive line. The dagger and the guard roll Status Effect Chance, Weapon Damage Boost and Accuracy; against a player who keeps moving, Weapon Damage Boost does more than Back Attack. The Abyssal manastones carry PvP Attack, PvP Critical Hit, PvP Critical Hit Resist and PvP Block. The Bell and Mirror lines go to
Revitalization Contract,
Defense Break and
Rear Smite: one keeps you alive through a stun, the other two soften the target the moment it is stunned.
