The cheapest way into Assassin PvP: the pieces a fresh 45 already owns, rolled for Status Effect Resist and Accuracy, Revitalization Contract at 10 and a Shadowstrike that seals.
PvP asks less of your gear than you would think and much more of your timing. You pick one target, land behind it, spend your burst and get out. Everything in this version is gear you already wear at 45, rerolled for the two things players punish an Assassin for: getting stunned, and missing.
Defiance frees a player from stun, knockdown, airborne, grab, frost and fear, and keeps them immune for 5 seconds. It does nothing against Seal, Root, Slow, Blind or Taunt. So treat your opener as bait: let the stun pull their Defiance out of them, and the Seal and the knockdown land on someone who can no longer break them. When they break yours, nothing you throw sticks for 5 seconds; step back until it ends.
| Control | Does Defiance remove it? |
|---|---|
| Stun, Knockdown | Yes |
| Seal | No |
| Root, Slow | No |
| Blind | No |
Every armour piece carries Status Effect Resist, which decides how long you stay stunned in their opener. The guard rolls Status Effect Chance and Accuracy: at this level an accuracy build beats an evasion one, and a missed Shadowstrike is a lost fight.
Revitalization Contract goes to 10 in this preset for more resistance, and it gives you 44% of your HP back once you drop to 10%, once a minute.
Saint of Ereshkigal comes at level 20 of Ereshkigal's Monolith and adds 4% PvP damage. The Rare Fierce Battle Amulet gives 10% PvP damage; the Unique one gives 20%. Azphel, the PvP board, opens at 45 and runs on its own crystals from the Abyss Shop and the Monolith, so it takes nothing from your other boards.
