A control Sorcerer for the Arena and the Abyss on the gear you already wear: freeze, root or seal first, Hellfire only on a target that can't move, and Steel Barrier, Arctic Armor and Hibernation to live through their answer.
Everything here is the gear from the dungeon build, rerolled. A skill preset keeps its own levels and stigmas, so this one can move points without touching your PvE setup:
Revitalization Contract,
Grace of Resistance and
Absorb Essence go up to 10, and
Grace of Enhancement, Vitality Evaporation and Flame Scattershot drop to 1. Scattershot only hits a staggered target and players never stagger, so it leaves the bar altogether.
The plan in one line: you have no dash, so you never let them reach you twice. Three of your four stigmas are about staying alive; the fourth makes the one Hellfire you get count.
Between all that, the right-click stack keeps
Blaze and
Firestorm going. Firestorm's PvP pick cuts their incoming healing by 60% for 5 seconds, which is what turns a Cleric fight from hopeless to winnable.
Frost and
Frost Burst share E: Frost goes out first, and while it cools down Frost Burst hits whoever is still frozen and heals you for 7% of your HP.
Most classes get one way out of a stun. You get two: Defiance, which frees you from stun, knockdown, airborne, grab, frost and fear and keeps you immune for 5 seconds, and Remove Hibernation. Use one, keep the other. Defiance does nothing against root, slow, seal or taunt, and theirs doesn't either, which is why a root or a slow is the best thing to open with once they've burned it.
| They use | What it does to you | Your move |
|---|---|---|
| Gladiator's Tenaciousness, Cleric's Salvation | 3 seconds where nothing lands | Wait it out. Don't spend Hellfire on it |
| Templar's Taunt | 3 seconds pulled to them | Defiance won't remove it, its immunity blocks it |
| Assassin's Shadowstrike from stealth | A stun that always lands | Hibernation for the burst behind it |
| Spiral Slice, Seize Magic | Strips your buffs | Expect to lose Steel Barrier or Arctic Armor |
| Thing | Dungeon | Arena and Abyss |
|---|---|---|
| Stigmas | Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion, Fire Wall, Cold Storm | Element Enhancement, Steel Barrier, Arctic Armor, Hibernation |
| Bittercold Wind | +1 second on the root | Pull: it drags them into the root |
| Firestorm | Hellfire cooldown and more damage | 60% less healing on them, and the Hellfire cut |
| Passives at 10 | Grace of Enhancement, Vitality Evaporation | Revitalization Contract, Grace of Resistance, Absorb Essence |
| Amulet | Revelation Amulet |
| Stigma | Level | In a fight |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | +20% Fire and Water Attack, and +200 Accuracy so the opener doesn't miss | |
| 15 | A shield on a 60-second timer, 10% faster feet, and less PvP damage while it holds | |
| 15 | Less damage for 10 seconds, harder to stun or knock down, and part of each hit goes to your MP while it's above half | |
| 1 | It has one level and needs no more: five seconds immune to damage and status effects, and 20% of your HP back if you end it early |
That's 86 stigma points. Steel Barrier and Arctic Armor take 70 of them because they're up in every fight; Element Enhancement waits at 10, since in a duel you rarely get a second Hellfire anyway, and Hibernation costs a single point.
Every robe carries Status Effect Resist, which decides how long their stun keeps you, with HP and Accuracy or Critical Hit Resist beside it and one PvP passive line. The jewellery swaps Might for Intelligence: on a caster, Intelligence raises Status Effect Chance, so your freezes, roots and seals land more often. The spellbook and the guard roll Status Effect Chance for the same reason. Both rings put a level on
Hellfire and on
Bittercold Wind, which ends at 19 with the cards.
The Epic Fierce Battle Amulet is the PvP damage piece at this stage, and the Unique one replaces it later. Abyssal manastones carry PvP Attack, PvP Critical Hit, PvP Defense and PvP Critical Hit Resist. Perion's Tragedy on the spellbook can Seal and Heladrir's Chains on the guard can Root: two more controls that Defiance doesn't touch. Brawler Wings add Status Effect Resist and Chance while worn, and Saint of Ereshkigal is the attack title.
The PvP board runs on its own crystals from Ereshkigal's Monolith and the Abyss Shop, so it costs your other boards nothing. The board here holds its first 22 nodes: PvP Attack, Defense and Accuracy, and the first Status Effect Resist nodes. None of it counts against a monster, which is why the PvE build keeps it closed.
