The first Expedition on the global servers: four fights, one wipe mechanic that everyone learns the hard way, and the Berk accessories most characters start their first real set with.
Krao Cave is where most characters meet group content for the first time, and it is forgiving right up until the last room. The two mid-bosses are warm-ups; the fight that decides the run is Ultimate Berk, and it comes down to two moments — a rock you have to be behind and a stagger bar you have to empty. Get those right and Krao is a five minute clear. Miss either and it is a wipe, every time.

The cave is an abandoned Lepharist laboratory. Berk was built there during the last war, turned on its makers and was sealed in, which is why you break a seal before the final room rather than just walking into it.
| Mode | Character level | Item level | Odyle per cube | Party |

| Conquest | 45 | 700 | 40 | 1–5 |
Global groups are five players — Korea runs four — so a Korean guide's "tank, healer, two damage" becomes tank, healer and three damage here. Exploration and the Conquest normal mode can be soloed by a well-geared character; the five-player group is about clearing it fast, not about clearing it at all.
Talk to Pazkin at the entrance to open the barrier, then take the two wings in either order: Neglected Gadioton on the left, Enhanced Harcon on the right. Both have to die before the Krao Seal Guardian in the middle can be reached, and the Guardian has to die before the wind path to Berk opens.
Gadioton throws fireballs that leave burning ground behind. The pools land away from him, so the safe place is close to the boss, not at range.
Harcon is Gadioton with a teleport and one new pattern. He reuses the fire puddles and the frontal flame stream, then adds a star of crossing line attacks that comes out fast and covers a lot of floor. The lines are survivable on their own; what kills people is standing where two of them cross. Read the star, find a gap between two arms and stand in it.
The Guardian is a gate, not a fight. Focus it down and ignore the adds around it; the seal breaks on its death and opens the path to Berk. The way down has a drop that kills on impact, so glide instead of falling.

Berk hits hard with everything, but only two of his attacks end runs.
Sweep and whirlwind. His sweep covers a very wide cone in front of him; directly behind him is safe. When red dust gathers around his body he is about to spin, and the spin chases one player for several hits. Back off as soon as you see the dust; the chased player keeps moving and the spin, which is slow, never catches up. The two are chained — sweep, then whirlwind straight away — and most deaths in this room are people walking back in after the sweep.
Wave of Fury. His health bar disappears, he leaps, lands and shouts, and four rocks rise at the edges of the room. You have about five seconds to get into the shadow behind a rock. Anyone outside it dies. The safe shadow is small, so commit early rather than hunting for the perfect spot.
The 50% stagger. At half health Berk opens a stagger gauge and starts a wipe channel. The group has to empty the gauge before the channel finishes or everyone dies. Hold your stagger and burst skills from the moment he crosses about 60% so they all land together.
| Moment | What you see | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Sweep | Wind-up facing the tank | Stand behind him |
| Whirlwind | Red dust around his body | Back off; the target keeps moving |
| Wave of Fury | Health bar vanishes, he leaps | Behind a rock within five seconds |
| 50% | Stagger gauge opens | Everyone spends stagger skills at once |
| Enrage | Around five minutes in | Damage check — the clear must finish first |
Two changes from the Korean patch history are worth knowing, because older videos predate them: the area behind a rock is now drawn on the floor, and class immunity skills no longer let you ignore the wave. Hide behind the rock even if your class used to skip it.
On the global servers the median Conquest kill, read from a DPS meter's uploads, is about three and a half minutes on Berk and under a minute and a half on each wing boss. If your Berk fight runs much past four minutes you are close enough to the enrage to fail it on a bad stagger.
Every Conquest clear pays out a cube per boss. The final boss's cube is the one that matters: it rolls the Unique pool at roughly twice the rate of the two wing bosses. Chances below are per clear, read from a reward-cube database; treat them as approximate.

The Berk ring, earrings and necklace are the reason to farm Krao: they are the accessory set many characters wear until the next tier of content. The Rupture weapons drop for every class, so in a full group expect to see one for someone else long before your own.
The everyday drops are the Division set, which fills the slots the Berk set does not:

| Legend | 39.9% | |

Harcon's cube can also hold
Soul: Harcon (Bound). Every clear adds Kina, Enhance Stones, Silentium and a Soul Codex on top.
Exploration pays the Red Agate set, a cheap levelling set worth wearing until Conquest:
